With a career spanning leadership, ownership, and M&A advisory, Ron has earned a reputation for executing deals that are both strategic and realistic. As Managing Director and Senior M&A Advisor at George & Company, he works closely with business owners and buyers to guide them through every phase of the transaction—from positioning and valuation to negotiation and closing.

Prior to joining George & Company, Ron spent more than 13 years as Senior Managing Director at Sunbelt M&A in Woburn, where he successfully closed dozens of transactions across the Main Street and lower middle market. His experience includes working with private equity firms, public companies, and strategic buyers, giving him a broad perspective on how to structure deals that align with market expectations.

Earlier in his career, Ron owned and operated his own businesses and held executive leadership roles at major media organizations, including The Tribune Company, MediaNews Group, and Gannett. Serving as a publisher, general manager, and operator, he developed a deep understanding of what it takes to grow, manage, and ultimately transition a business.

Having personally bought, sold, and led companies, Ron offers clients a practical, no-nonsense approach. He is known for simplifying complex decisions, advocating for his clients’ best interests, and driving transactions forward to successful outcomes.
